What currency does the Cook Islands use? The New Zealand Dollar, ANZ and Westpac ATM's are available and a Western Union.

What is the Climate? The Cook Islands is generally always sunny and fine.  December to March is the wet season with the average temperature 26-29 degrees celsius and April to November the dry season with temperatures ranging from 20-25 degrees celsius.

What should I wear? Your clothes should be informal, cool and comfortable, brief attire is not acceptable in town or villages. A respectable standard of dress is expected for church services. Reef shoes are suggested for swimming on the reef at low tide.

What language is used? Locals speak Cook Island Maori and English although all are familiar with English.

What should I bring?  We recommend the obvious things like sunglasses, insect repellant and sunscreen.  Also, if you are planning on eating in often we recommend that you bring meat as it is expensive to buy in Rarotonga.
